MEET THE CLUB

Meet the York Manor Garden Club
The York Manor Garden Club was organized in October 1962 by members of the York Manor
Community in Timonium, Maryland. York Manor Garden Club is part of the National Garden
Clubs, Inc. and the Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland. Current members live in many
different communities in Northern Baltimore County and Harford County from Parkton to Towson
and Fallston to Carney.
Members of the York Manor Garden Club are from all walks of life and share a bond of
friendship and common interests in horticulture, gardening, conservation, and environmental
preservation.
Meetings are held monthly from September through June on the third Wednesday of the month
at 10 a.m. Annual dues are $45. Club membership is small enough to host meetings in
member homes. Members signup as hostess and co-hostess to provide refreshments.
Meetings topics include:
1. Guest speakers
2. Demonstrations
3. Hands-on workshops
4. Field trips
5. Annual holiday Greens Sale at Mercy Ridge Retirement Community
6. Annual picnic and annual holiday luncheon
